Happy Mother’s Day

An easy and fun craft for the kids -just cut some crayons ahead of time to avoid accidents-It’s a great way to recycle those pieces of crayons at the bottom of the craft box.

You need:
A frame (I found a few at Big Lots for 5$)
White paper
Knife or

For this project, I decided to write the letter M for my kids’ nickname to their grandmother Mamiré.

1) I took the glass out of the frame and use it to trace the size of the paper that will go in. Set the glass aside for another future project.

2) I laid the crayons’ pieces in the middle of the paper. Once you’ve decided on the right color combinations and the right sizes of crayon pieces, put some glue on one length and leave the art alone until the glue dries.

3) Slide the back of the frame under the art and lay the frame on top.

4) Fold the frame metal tabs behind the back of the frame to keep the art in place.
